Happy Celine Song summer!
TNTW is short for “There’s Nothing To Watch”. A statement I hardly and wholeheartedly disagree. Because, I beg your pardon, it’s bullshit. They just don’t know where to look or don’t look at all. It’s a round-up of premieres for a given week on streaming platforms (both international and for Poland) and in cinemas. The big screen premieres will only focus on Poland, but quite a lot of them correspond with international releases so, you know, check it too. Occasionally, there’ll be a mention of one of the major film festivals and its programme and what to keep an eye on once the films from it are out for the rest of us mortals. There’ll also be a collection of some recommendations on streaming platforms. All of it gathered to the best of my ability.
It’s gonna be short. It’s gonna be brief. It’s gonna be fun. And it’s gonna be in your mailbox every Friday, just in time for the weekend extravaganza.

Series of the week
The Studio
2025-, created by Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, Peter Huyck, Alex Gregory, and Frida Perez, starring Seth Rogen, Catherine O'Hara, Ike Barinholtz, Chase Sui Wonders, Kathryn Hahn, and Bryan Cranston (and so many more).
Follows a legacy Hollywood movie studio striving to survive in a world where it is increasingly difficult for art and business to live together.
With season one having finished a few weeks ago and the second season confirmed, I’m equally surprised and ashamed it hasn’t been included here sooner. You can now binge all episodes if you haven’t yet.
Hilarious, sharp, and unbelievably well-directed. Seth Rogen strikes gold while providing us with a comedic masterclass of a smart and layered show. Top-tier writing and the characters are played with precision and charm, making them instantly lovingly relatable among the chaos. And what a cast it is! There are also so many cameos, including Martin Scorsese, Zac Efron, Anthony Mackie, Paul Dano, Zoë Kravitz, and so many more, all playing themselves, elevating the Hollywood satire. All 10 episodes are directed by Rogen and Evan Goldberg, making it all a precisely executed vision. Hands-down the best thing Rogen has ever done. Easily one of the best new shows of 2025.
